The olive the oil came from – a beginning in a small form.

In the series the olive is where the story starts. A reclining oval form, wrapped by a folded band like a cloth laid around it. Much calm in the proportion, few lines, each one placed with care. In wood effect it reads like a piece of fired clay; light settles in the fold. On its own, too, a quiet object for shelf and desk.

Designed and made in Frankfurt am Main. Made to order in Germany: the object is additively manufactured, layer by layer from PLA; fine layer lines are part of the process. Each piece is only made once you order – a piece of its own; subtle differences in tone, surface and layer pattern make it unmistakably individual.
