About Versform

A thought becomes a form.

The name comes from Frankfurt’s Poets’ Quarter. As a verse grows from lines, our objects grow from a single line: a fold, a band that wraps around the form and, in the light, settles into a calm shape.

    Nine flames in a single line. The thought of the hanukkiah became a reclining sculpture: the flames rise from one calm, shared base, and the central one stands above the row as the shamash.

    Four cups, one line. On Seder night four cups are filled, each with its own meaning, all in a fixed sequence. That rhythm has become a form.

Layer by layer.

Every piece is only made once you order, here in Frankfurt am Main: layer by layer from PLA, then inspected individually. The fine layer lines remain visible; they belong to the form as lines belong to a verse. That makes every object a piece of its own – subtle differences in tone, surface and layer pattern make it unmistakably individual.

  2. Objects to display

    Every piece is a sculpture for shelf, table and windowsill – to collect and arrange.

  3. Shipping within Germany and the EU

    Ready to ship in 2–4 business days, then sent with DHL: usually 1–3 days within Germany, 3–8 days to other EU countries. You order securely through Etsy.

  4. 14-day right of withdrawal

    You can withdraw within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. If something arrives damaged, we will put it right at no cost to you.

Care instructions

Dust with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth; no harsh cleaners or solvents. Not dishwasher safe – hand-wash only in lukewarm water (below 40 °C). PLA softens with heat: keep it below 50 °C and away from radiators, candles and hot cars. In summer, avoid strong direct sunlight behind a window.

How are your designs made?

Every form is designed digitally in Frankfurt am Main, made as a sample and checked before it joins a series.

What material do you use?

We print in PLA – in many colours and finishes, depending on the collection. Each listing states the colour and finish of the piece. A wood or stone effect is a look, not real wood or natural stone.
